in a dream of happiness
and everything in between,
the elegance of grin
is a feast of sugar
and spice, under a starry night
and being reunited with
a pile of sent letters
from everyone you used to know.
behind the smile
is nothing but a spring day,
a sunlight that reflects
laughter and brightness.
but as life mimics the dream,
it feigns and make parodies
of genuine happiness  and romance.
it appears innocent,
making us believe that our
dreams betray us
for the rest of our lives
